New Mexico Statewide Funding and Research
Currently there are two funding opportunities available.
1. New Mexico Research Enhancement- awards up to $25,000
2. Travel funding for New Mexico researchers to visit NASA Centers and other crucial locations associated with NASA research

Eligibility
Competition is open to individuals at NMSGC affiliate institutions:
- NMSU - New Mexico State University
- UNM - University of New Mexico
- SJC - San Juan College
- SIPI - Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute
- NMIMT - New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology
- NMHU - New Mexico Highlands University
Submission is limited to two proposal per individual. NMSGC encourages the participation of any PI who is female, a member of a minority group, or a person with a disability.

2. Travel funding for New Mexico Researchers
New Mexico NASA EPSCoR offers funding for travel opportunities to encourage faculty to explore and develop connections and collaborations with NASA researchers at Centers and other NASA supported research facilities. The purpose of the travel is to explore potential collaborations with NASA researchers for research efforts and funding opportunities. Both short and medium length (1-2 weeks) Center visits will be supported. If arrangements can be made, faculty are urged to present research progress and findings in formal presentations to interested personnel during NASA Center visits.
3. Funding for Student Competitions
New Mexico Space Grant Consortium offers up to $5,000 in funding to support student teams to participate in design competitions.
